The Week Ahead (12/24-12/31)

In remembrance of the legend that is James Brown, Stacey “Flygirrl” Wilson will be throwing the 4th annual Philly Loves James Brown party this Friday at Johnny Brenda’s. DJs Spinna and Mike Nyce will be spinning some of our favorite JB cuts and of course, some fantastic mixes. The party will take place Friday, December 26th.

What’s a better way to bring in the new year than with some good ole sangin’?! Our hometown hero Jazmine Sullivan (Sidenote: Did you see her slay “Let It Burn” with After 7 on the Soul Train Awards? SHE DID THAT!) will performing for the third time this year at TLA on New Year’s Eve. Tickets are available now. The last two shows sold out within days so don’t poke around for this show!
