The Week Ahead

Anyone in the mood for jazz tonight? If so, our friends from The Soulful Sounds Series will be bringing Washington, DC-based keyboardist Marcus Johnson to town this evening at Warmdaddy’s. Marcus is a Billboard-ranked, NAACP Image Award-nominated jazz keyboardist who has an astonishing 15 albums within the last decade. His unique self-taught style of piano play has earned him distinction among his peers, praise from the media and accolades across the music industry. Tickets are tonight’s show are still for sale. The show begins at 8pm.

Guess what’s turning two years old? Our favorite monthly party Friends & Fam! FNF and it’s resident DJ Matthew Law will be celebrating its birthday this Saturday at Kung Fu Necktie (1250 N Front St).
