Just Announced: The Roots Picnic 2016 Lineup

When it came to Roots Picnic 2016, we were actually afraid. Like, how do you top Queen Erykah Badu as headliner? Not possible, right? Well, our favorite boys from Philly proved us wrong. Very wrong.

We almost went into cardiac arrest when it was announced that Usher Raymond IV da God, the most successful (and legendary!) R&B artist of our time will be the official headliner of Roots Picnic 2016. To be honest, we’re still in utter disbelief but all praises to the R&B Gods for their many blessings. And by those blessings, we mean My Way, 8701, and Confessions. As always, The Roots Picnic headliners will be back by the Roots so we’re going to be in for a special treat.

The other acts completing this flawless lineup include Future and his producer Metro Boomin, DMX and his legendary producer Swizz Beatz,Blood Orange, Kehlani, Kaytranada(if you’ve haven’t checked out hisTeedra Moses’ “Be Your Girl” remix, you’re out of the loop!), Ibeyi (heirs to the Les Nubian throne), Willow Smith, Jidenna, Anderson .Paak, and much more.
