Just Announced: The High Road Tour, Emily King, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

We’ve already announced this one but it’s worth another reminder. Lisa Fischer, one of most noted backup singers in the world and star of the Oscar Award-winning documentary Twenty Feet from Stardom, will be performing at Penn’s Annenberg Center on April 23rd. Get your ticket now.

Did you see that awesome piece on Billboard about Mariah Carey’s biggest collaborations? Well, they caught up with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and  chatted about the classic “Breakdown.” And breaking down is what we did after listening to their awesome story. The band will be performing at the TLA on June 2nd in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their breakout song “Tha Crossroads.” Tickets are on sale now.

A fave to many of our Neighbors (including our guy Eric Roberson) Emily King will be performing at Union Transfer on July 11th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 12pm. Don’t delay! Her shows tend to sell out fairly quickly.

So the most appropriately titled tour was just announced. The High Road Tour will feature (GET THIS!) Wiz Khalifa, Jhene Aiko, Casey Veggies, Kevin Gates, and the one and onlySnoop Dogg (or is it Lion?). Sounds like the perfect 4/20 gift, huh? The show will take place at Camden’s BB&T Pavilion on August 5th.Tickets are on sale now.

Sooooo… we’re unapologetic Hiatus Kaiyote stans. The Australian neo-soul band caught our interest back in 2013 with their debut single“Nakamarra” and then stole our hearts with their debut album Choose Your Weapon which was released last year. With that being said, we can’t wait for their upcoming show at the Troc on August 15th. Not sure when tickets go on sale but best believe that we’ll let you know when they do.
